God of New Beginnings

Israel had fallen to the Assyrians years before.  Yet Judah, believing herself favored of God, did not amend her ways.  Before long, she too was in chains.  The temple was destroyed and the land abandoned as exiles were carried off to Babylon and those that were left fled to Egypt.  God had forsaken His people and all hope was lost.

Or was it?

What happened to the exiles in Babylon?  What became of their homeland?  How did Israel and Judah of antiquity become Jews?  Does any of this apply to Christians today?

Join me in the series God of New Beginnings, as we seek to uncover the answers to the questions above.  Be sure to check out the Devotional and Adventures in Bilandia story which support this theme.

Be blessed!
