A prayer for deliverance and healing inspired by Elijah’s prayer in 1 Kings 18:36-37  

Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God over all the earth, the sky and the sea, for you hold the whole world in your hands. Show yourself strong as our prayers for healing rise up to you, for you have commanded us to pray for the nations. You are the same God who ceased Israel’s slavery with a mighty and outstretched arm, the One who caused the sun to stand still, the very God who raised the dead to life. Times too numerous to count, you have delivered your children from oppression, war, assault and plagues. We call to you now that you may arise and cause COVID-19 to scatter before you. Hear our cry and answer us, Lord, so that all the people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.

By faith, we declare we still believe in miracles because God hears when we pray. God was God in time past, and He is God today. God can do it again and again and again; He’s the same God today as He always has been. Yesterday and forever, He’ll still be the same; there’s no reason to doubt, for God can do it again.
